The Adventure Group (T.A.G.) offers unique wilderness challenge programs that are unlike any you've seen before. T.A.G is designed to prepare, challenge, and educate you in the protocols of wilderness skills offering any individuals or groups something out of the ordinary.
It is opened all year round for groups of all ages from eight to eighty.
Our wilderness programs are perfect for the beginning hiker, or seasoned outdoorsmen.
At our wilderness camp, we take excellent care of our clients... but we don't baby you.
No previous experience is required as our programs begin activities at an introductory level and slowly advance by teaching and promoting safety, responsibility and teamwork.
T.A.G offers 1 to 7 day programs to clients with a focus on developing a multitude of skills whilst participating in age appropriate adventure activities.
We balance the presentation of information in lecture format with practical activities, exercises, and challenges that allow clients to gain the authentic knowledge that comes from their own personal firsthand experiences.
A primary educational principle at T.A.G is hands-on, field-based experience leads to the deepest
learning. We can offer programs from hard core living off the land to having relaxed social evenings around the camp fire. At the beginning of each program participants are issued backpacks, sleeping bags, tents, cook sets, food, and other supplies needed for an exciting outdoor experience.
Program places are limited, with a maximum of eight people and fill up surprisingly quick, so place your looking early to avoid disappointment, as we will not overdo client numbers on any of our programs.
The atmosphere is friendly and full of encouragement, so give it a go and bring a friend or a group.
