Course Outline

Who is the course for?

This course is designed for anyone who wants to learn how to remove them selves from a hostile situation by legally stunning an attacker and then quickly evacuating the area in order to lessen their chance of injury and increase their chance of survival. Students will learn how to diffuse and escape the most common statistical attacks by using the least amount of force.

Female self defence This course aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to assess, avoid and or protect themselves against a potential hostile situation. Environmental Defence awareness is a psychology of women understanding their own capabilities in a self -defence crisis.
The psychological approach to correct mental attitude is the first half, the second half is the realistic defence techniques taught. Female safety

 

This unique training has already been accepted within many corporations emphasising on concentration, self respect, self esteem, motivation, discipline, focus, stress management, confidence, alertness and leadership whilst building Esprit De Corps.

Course Topic

Defensive Solutions Female Street Awareness/Walksafe Course. It is based on the Budo-Jitsu Self Defence system.

Women's self defense

Duration

12 hours divided into 3 x 4 hour modules or to individual requirements.

Pre-requisites

Comfortable clothing for training. No jewellery or loose accessories. Personal protective equipment e.g. bag mitts, mouth guard (both optional).

Summary of Contents

  • Identification of threatening situation.
  • Prevention and avoidance of potentially hostile situations.
  • Justification of striking in self-defence.
  • Where to strike and how.
  • Tools and Targets.
  • Direct application of simple techniques that may be required in acts of self-defence.
  • Escalation of self- confidence and personal awareness levels.

Learning Outcomes

On completion of the seminar the trainee will be able to:

  • recognise and defuse a potentially violent situation.
  • defend themselves against a violent situation.
  • understand and execute self-defence techniques specialising in defence against sexual assault.
  • utilise a marked increase of self-confidence, awareness and ability to perform their project without intimidation.
