Who is the course for?

This seminar is intended for anyone who wishes to expand their knowledge beyond the basic realm of just punching, kicking and grappling to a more in depth Scientific step by step approach utilizing the Budo-Jitsu principles, correct angle and direction, energy flow, cycle of destruction and pressure point application breakdown that is a proven method of self defence in a realistic combat situation.

Our seminar provide clients to deal with reality based solutions regarding personal protection and self preservation in a potential hostile environment addressing extraordinary circumstances that may arise, such as appropriate behaviour in being assaulted, kidnapped and being held hostage.

Course Topic

Pressure Point Combatives seminar. It is based on the Budo-Jitsu “Close Quarter Combat” system.

Course Purpose

An exciting approach to self defence. Trainees invest only three hours of their time to learn some simple, yet very effective skills that will give them the chance to escape from virtually all forms of aggression,

This seminar is ideal for those who only want to know a few "tricks" that the can use if ever they are confronted. This seminar aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to assess, avoid and protect themselves against a potential hostile situation.

This seminar is designed for anyone who wants to learn how to remove them selves from a hostile situation by legally stunning an attacker and then quickly evacuating the area in order to lessen their chance of injury and increase their chance of survival. Students will learn how to diffuse and escape the most common statistical attacks by using the least amount of force.

Duration

Three hour module or to the individuals requirements.

Pre-requisites

Comfortable clothing for training. No jewelry or loose accessories. Personal Protective equipment e.g. mouth guard (both optional).

Summary of Contents

  • Identification of pressure and nerves.
  • Prevention and avoidance of potentially hostile situations.
  • Justification of striking and applying in self-defence.
  • Where to strike and how.
  • Direct application of simple techniques that may be required in acts of self-defence.
  • Escalation of self- confidence and personal awareness levels.

Learning Outcomes

On completion of the seminar the trainee will be able to:

  • recognise and detect pressure points and nerves.
  • defend themselves against a violent situation.
  • understand and execute self-defence techniques.
  • utilise a marked increase of self-confidence, awareness and ability to perform their project without intimidation.
